PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, a communication device, a communication apparatus, a communication establishment method, and a computer program capable of selecting a desired communication target more surely and quickly as a candidate with whom the local device can establish communication, even when plural candidates for communication to be established are found by search.SOLUTION: When, for example, communication targets with whom a local device can establish communication are searched, and when plural candidates for communication are searched because their identification information associated with received radio waves is identical, their device information is acquired for display from the communication devices of the plural candidates for communication, and the device information selected by the user from among the displayed device information is accepted. At this time, a communication device corresponding to the selected device information thus accepted is selected as a communication device with which communication is to be established, and communication is established with the communication device. |
