PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head capable of obtaining excellent image quality by improving the ink discharge performance of a nozzle and to provide an inkjet recording apparatus including the head.SOLUTION: The inkjet head of one embodiment includes: a pressure chamber filled with an ink; an actuator changing the volume of the pressure chamber, according to an input discharge waveform; the nozzle discharging the ink in the pressure chamber, according to the change of the volume of the pressure chamber; and a controller. When forming one pixel by discharging an ink droplet from the nozzle, the controller continuously outputs the discharge waveform to the actuator by the number of discharges decided on the basis of the gradation value data of the pixel, to form the pixel, when the elapsed time from the last discharge of the ink droplet from the nozzle is below a prescribed time, and continuously outputs the discharge waveform to the actuator by the number of discharges to which one or more is added, to form the pixel, when the elapsed time exceeds the prescribed time. |
