PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for internal combustion engine capable of executing an early warm-up of the engine using a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A fan 13 is configured so that when rotating in the regular direction, it sends the external air introduced through a front grill 4, to a radiator 11, and forwards to the front grill 4 through the radiator 11 when rotating in the reverse direction. In case the engine 2 is in operation and the engine temperature Tp sensed by a sensor 15 is at the target temperature level Tt or below, a controller 16 rotates the fan 13 in the reverse direction so that the wind velocity around the radiator 11 approaches zero on the basis of the reverse rotating speed Nx calculated by the reverse rotating speed calculation process, whereby the drive of a fan motor 14 is controlled. |
