PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shutdown without power supply to an accessory during imaging.SOLUTION: An operational current consumption of an imaging apparatus is determined and a current consumption of an accessory is determined from a result of identification of the accessory, and a maximum allowable current of a battery is determined for comparison from a result of identification of the battery. When the battery is a power supply, the battery supplies power to the accessory if the result of comparison in the comparison step is that the sum of the current consumption of the accessory and the current consumption of the imaging apparatus does not exceed the maximum allowable current of the battery. |
