A liquid crystal display is provided to have minimized size and weight by reducing the height and width of a main support, and come up to expectations of development of a thinner and more compact model. A main support(202) receives a backlight assembly(201). A liquid crystal panel(205) is disposed at an upper portion of the main support and includes an upper substrate(213) and a lower substrate(214). A lower cover(206) covers the main support, the backlight assembly, the liquid crystal panel, and includes a panel guide part(206a). One or more panel guide parts are formed. The panel guide part is formed to be protruded convexly to the side of the liquid crystal panel. The panel guide part is protruded convexly such that it corresponds to the side of the upper substrate of the liquid crystal panel. The panel guide part guides the side of the liquid crystal panel. |
