PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security while maintaining convenience.SOLUTION: A MFP 300 comprises: an output unit 305; and a use state transmission unit 301 for transmitting a use state to a print server device 100. The print server device 100 refers to a use state receiving unit 106 for receiving the use state, a use state setting unit 105 for storing use state information 151 associating the use state with a device name in a storage unit 150, a job receiving unit 102 for receiving a print job and the use state information 151, and comprises: a job control unit 104 which determines whether to save the print data in the job storage unit 107 or to transmit the print data to the designated MFP300 according to a print request; and a job transmission unit 108 which transmits the print data and the print request to the designated MFP 300 when determining the former. The job control unit 104 saves the print data in the job storage unit 107 when determining the latter.
