PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent software from being installed on an unintended vehicle mounted terminal and enhance user convenience by reducing the burden of inputting information and time required for downloading software when delivering software from a server to a vehicle-mounted terminal.SOLUTION: A vehicle-mounted terminal 10 and a server 30 of an information delivery system stores identical information regarding terminal identification information and a terminal unique key that are unique to the vehicle-mounted terminal 10. The vehicle-mounted terminal 10 transmits the terminal identification information encrypted with the terminal unique key to the server 30 via a communication terminal 20 to be authenticated, and the server 30, in turn, transmits encrypted software to the communication terminal 20. The communication terminal 20 transmits the encrypted software to the vehicle-mounted terminal 10 which, in turn, obtains a software unique key encrypted with the terminal unique key from the server 30 to decrypt and install the encrypted software using the software unique key. |
