PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic indicator estimation device capable of accurately estimating traffic indicators regarding traffic queues using probe information and detection signals.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a traffic indicator estimation device for estimating traffic indicators regarding traffic queues in traffic jams. The estimating device (central device 4) includes estimation means (controller 401) which estimates traffic indicators regarding a traffic queue based on the number of detection signals S6 that satisfies the following condition c1 when a location where a probe vehicle 5 has stopped is in the downstream of a location of a vehicle sensor 7. The condition c1: tp<ts, where tprefers to the time when a vehicle 5 corresponding to an i-th (i is a natural number) detection signal reaches the end of the queue in reference to the time the probe vehicle 5 passes the sensor, and tsrefers to a starting time when a vehicle 5 corresponding to the preceding signal, or an (i-1)th detection signal, hits a starting wave in reference to the time the probe vehicle 5 passes the sensor. |
