PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a delay in the time required until invalidity verification is performed for a public key certificate after the invalidity of a public key certificate in compliance with a plurality of authentication stations and effectively perform efficient validity confirmation processing for public key certificate.SOLUTION: A verification server 11 receives a verification request of a public key certificate and, when invalidity information of the public certificate to be verified, included in the verification request, does not exist in a storage section, acquires the invalidity information of the public key certificate before issued by an authentication station 13 that issues the invalidity information of the public certificate to be verified, from the authentication station 13, and verifies validity of the public certificate to be verified, using the invalidity information. |
