PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto light system properly controlling turning on and off of a headlight by accurately determining a state related to headlight control upon passing through a tunnel etc. without detecting a light component of a specific frequency.SOLUTION: An auto light system 1 includes: a direction-based illumination intensity detecting unit 51 for detecting the illumination intensity of incident light from a plurality of different directions including at least front, and obliquely upper right or left with respect to a vehicle; a determination unit 52 for determining the state related to the headlight control based on at least one of magnitude relation of the direction-based illumination intensity of the plurality of the direction-based illumination intensity detected by the direction-based illumination intensity detecting unit 51, and fulfillment of conditions of the direction-based illumination intensity in a predetermined combination of the direction-based illumination intensity conditions which are set based on the directions; and a headlight control unit 53 for controlling turning on and off of the headlight of the vehicle based on the state related to the headlight control determined by the determination unit 52. |
