PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To code or decode image data with the same method irrespective of a color space to which each pixel of the image data belongs.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: an aggregation processing unit for extracting a pixel from each of pieces of image data different in color space according to an arrangement position when the image data different in color space is aggregated, creating a pixel value plane for each color in which a pixel value of a color in a color space to which each extracted pixel belongs is mixed among the different color spaces, and creating an identification plane indicating the color space to which each pixel belongs; a coding unit for a gradation plane indicating a gradation of each color in the pixel value plane, and coding the pixel value according to a section of the gradation of each color to which the pixel value of each color in the pixel value plane belongs, and creating a code value plane indicating the code value; and decoding unit for specifying a color of each code value in the code value plane according to the color space indicated by the identification plane, and coding the code value of each specified color by using the gradation of each color indicated by the gradation plane. |
