PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent stroboscopic photography before the finish of obtaining color filter information and to prevent stroboscopic photography that has improper exposure and white unbalance when the color filter is attached.SOLUTION: The camera system includes a flash device that includes a light emitting part 350 configured to emit flash light, a color filter 401 attached to the light emitting part 350 and a filter detecting part 324 provided for the light emitting part 350 and configured to detect filter information, the flash device configured to obtain information about the color filter 401 with the filer detection part 324 and to control light emission based on the filer information. In the camera system, emission of flash light is inhibited until the filter detecting part finishes the detection of filter information. |
