<p>PURPOSE: An electric-powered toy function updating method which uses a smart phone application is provided to use an electric-powered toy in order to use for long time by easily updating the function of the electric-powered toy whenever and anywhere through the smart phone application. CONSTITUTION: If an application is performed after connecting a smart phone and an electric-powered toy to a communication, the state of the electric-powered toy is checked (S4). The application confirms the updatable functions of the electric-powered toy and displays the updatable functions (S6). If one is selected among the updatable functions, the application requests an update program and data to a server about the selection function and delivers to the electric-powered toy (S10). The electric-powered toy uses the update program and the data and updates the function.
