A call enable state notification system in a mobile communication system and a method thereof are provided to previously prevent a collision of calls by transmitting call enable state messages to a calling mobile terminal and a called mobile terminal at a certain time interval in order to prevent the two mobile terminals from making call connection requests at the same time in case the called mobile terminal returns to a call enable state. A call enable state notification system in a mobile communication system consists of an HLR(Home Location Register)(50), a call enable state notification server(70), and an SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(60). When a calling mobile terminal(10) makes a call to a called mobile terminal(30), the HLR(50) confirms whether the call connection is impossible. If the call connection is impossible as the called mobile terminal(30) is in a power-off state or in a traffic state, the HLR(50) requests a call enable state notification service to the call enable state notification server(70), and monitors the state of the called mobile terminal(30) through a serving MSC(45). If the called mobile terminal returns to a call enable state, the HLR(50) reports it to the call enable state notification server(70). Informed that the called mobile terminal is in the call enable state, the call enable state notification server(70) creates call enable state notification messages and respectively transmits the messages to the calling mobile terminal(10) and the called mobile terminal(30) at a certain time interval. The SMSC(60) converts the call enable state notification messages into short messages and respectively sends them to the calling mobile terminal(10) and the called mobile terminal(30). |
