PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a coating film by which the coating film of uniform thickness can be formed on a steel material surface.SOLUTION: After a UV curing type coating material which is controlled at control temperature is applied onto the steel material surface, an applied coating material is irradiated with UV rays to form a cured coating film. In the method for forming the coating film, the coating material is applied onto the steel material surface while maintaining temperature of the steel material surface in a range between -5°C and +20°C based on control temperature. In this case, preferably, the temperature of the steel material surface is kept in a range between 0°C and +10°C based on control temperature in order to obtain more uniform film thickness of the coating film formed on the steel material surface, to observe no patchy pattern in visual observation and to have good appearance. |
