PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator striking a balance between improvement in insulation efficiency and improvement in rigidity of an insulated wall.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes shelves provided inside a refrigerating chamber 22; support parts 47 for supporting the edges of the shelves; a first vacuum heat insulating material 70 provided at a sidewall extending between the refrigerating chamber 22 and another storage chamber; and a second vacuum heat insulating material 71 provided at the sidewall of the refrigerating chamber 22. The first vacuum heat insulating material 70 is arranged from the front of a tip part 47a of the support part 47 to the rear of a rear end 47b, and the second vacuum heat insulating material 71 is arranged behind the tip part 47a of the support part 47. Thereby, the vacuum heat insulating materials higher in rigidity than a foam heat insulating material are arranged doubly at a rigidity required part, resulting in striking a balance between improvement in insulation efficiency and improvement in rigidity of an insulated wall. |
