PURPOSE: An electrostatic image developing toner has excellent blocking, low temperature fixation and return stability. CONSTITUTION: An electrostatic image developing toner has toner particles. The toner particles include a core part, the first shell layer and the second shell layer. The core part contains the first polyester resin, a coloring agent and a release agent. The first shell layer contains the second polyester resin. The second shell layer contains a polymer having an aromatic type vinyl monomer and a third poly ester resin with an aromatic type vinyl monomer and an ethylenically unsaturated double bond enabling to polymerize. The total sum of the first and 2 shell layer is the range of 16-40 mass % of the toner particles.
