PURPOSE: A performance-based reward service providing method, a server thereof, and a recording medium thereof are provided to keep a user playing a game by granting time spending (TS) points according to the amount of the time spent by the user in a gradual manner or a linear manner and binding the points to the user's account when a game ends. CONSTITUTION: When a user enters a channel, a control unit recognizes the entry through a communication unit and stores a log record of the entry in a storage unit's a game playtime storage unit (S10). When the user quit the channel, the control unit gets a log record of the channel quitting point which is stored in the storage unit and outputs the log record through a TS-based reward unit (S30, S50). The TS-based reward unit grants the user with a reward for logging into the channel (S70).
