<p>PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a control method thereof are provided to execute a function corresponding to a touching means for a touch screen which is either the finger of a user or a touch pen. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen indicates a first screen according to the execution of a first function. The touch screen receives a touch by the finger of a user or a touch pen through the first screen. When the touch by the touch pen is inputted through the first screen, a control part (180) executes a second function predetermined at the touch pen. The control part copies the content inputted by the touch pen on a second screen corresponding to the execution of the second function. The control part ends the execution of the second function. The control part indicates the first screen again.
