PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical support device capable of confirming the propriety of medication in a three-point confirmation approach without being affected by a radio wave state in a hospital.SOLUTION: A medical support device includes: first reading means for reading patient identification information from a recording medium for patient identification; second reading means for reading medical worker identification information from a recording medium for medical worker identification; third reading means for reading medicine information, the patient identification information on a patient who is given the medicine, and the medical worker identification information on a medical worker who takes charge of administration of the medicine, from a recording medium for medicine identification attached to the medicine; and notification means for notifying that the combination of the medicine, the patient who is given the medicine, and the medical worker who takes charge of administration of the medicine is proper, if the patient identification information read by the first reading means corresponds with the patient identification information read by the third reading means, and the medical worker identification information read by the second reading means corresponds with the medical worker identification information read by the third reading means. |
