PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device that can perform a drive for partially differing its luminance.SOLUTION: The backlight device (lighting device) 12 includes LEDS 24, a chassis 22 for storing the LEDs 24, a central LED board 25C arranged at a central side of the chassis 22 and mounting the LEDs 24, at least a pair of end side LED boards 25E arranged on both sides of the central LED board 25C and mounting the LEDs 24 in the chassis 22, wherein power is supplied from the outside, end side board connecting connectors 35 and central board connecting connectors 42 as board connection parts connected with the central LED board 25C and the end side LED boards 25E adjacent to the central LED board 25C, and a folding type board wiring part 32 arranged on the central LED board 25C, wherein both end parts are connected with the central board connecting connector 42, whereas, a halfway part is folded back while being connected with the LEDs 24. |
