PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cooperation by simply coupling a transfer signal outputted from an alarm to the wireless communication network of a device management system for performing automatic meter reading of a gas meter and/or a power meter without requiring repair and change of the alarm.SOLUTION: An alarm system is constituted of a stand-alone type house alarm 10. In the alarm system, a relay adapter 15 is connected to the house alarm 10 and an in-house communication device 18-2 for cooperation is connected to the relay adapter 15. A transfer signal transmitted when detecting a fire by the house alarm 10 is converted into a transfer packet by the relay adapter 15 and the transfer packet is transmitted to an abnormality monitoring server 30 via the in-house communication devices 18-2 and 18-1 of a device management system, a wide area communication device 20, a cellular phone network 22, and the Internet 24 to cause a user's cellular phone 32 to output a fire alarm. |
