PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an air filter by a mold with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A frame-like mold 30 consisting of first-fourth frame members 31-34, and having a groove in the inner circumferential face is prepared. A filter material pack 11 is disposed inside the frame-like mold 30 while assembling the first-fourth frame members 31-34. At that time, a casting material is injected into the groove while inserting the periphery of the filter material pack 11 into the groove of the frame-like mold 30. The casting material has thixotropy, and does not droop from inside the groove. When the casting material is hardened, the frame-like mold 30 is disassembled to the first-fourth frame members 31-34, and the filter material pack 11 united with the casting material is released from the frame-like mold 30 to obtain the air filter. In the air filter, the hardened casting material makes a square frame-shaped filter frame. |
