PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency during light load and no-load by suppressing generation of step-down of voltage when a reverse current flows.SOLUTION: A switching regulator 100 comprises a comparator 120 executing PWM control, and having an inverted input terminal (-) to which an error output voltage from an error amplifier 110 is input, and a non-inverted input terminal (+) connected with a first offset circuit 170a and a second offset circuit 170b for applying a DC bias voltage to a slope voltage Vsl. When an offset voltage is set between two input terminals of the comparator 120, a second constant current ICC2 is fed to an offset resistor R4 by turning the second offset circuit 170b on, and an offset voltage is given by increasing the voltage drop over that when a first constant current ICC1 is flowing, thus adjusting the operation point of two input levels of the comparator 120. |
