PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of refining water and/or oil being a raw material, in a method for producing compatible transparent water-containing oil stably keeping a homogeneous state without causing milkiness while oil and water are mixed, and furthermore, a method of refining coarse water-containing oil emulsion containing a turbid component, and an apparatus therefor.SOLUTION: There are provided a series of refining method of water-containing oil and an apparatus therefor in a production system of obtaining emulsion by blending at least one kind of oil supplied from mineral oil and vegetable oil, water and an emulsifier. The refining method includes: (1) a process of bringing the water and/or material oil becoming the raw material into contact reaction with an adsorbent comprising a powder ion exchange resin, preferably a powder ion exchange resin-containing porous support body; (2) a process of refining the water-containing oil, in which the coarse water-containing oil emulsion containing the turbid component produced in the production process is brought into contact reaction with the adsorbent comprising the powder ion exchange resin, preferably the powder ion exchange resin-containing porous support body; and (3) a process of regenerating the powder ion exchange resin used in the refining process and lowered in the cleaning capacity by using a polar organic solvent, preferably acetone. |
