PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which can detect a malfunction in a microcomputer even when there occurs a malfunction in which a clear signal continues to be output.SOLUTION: An information processor includes a time measurement circuit 100 for measuring time, and arithmetic units 11, 50 for periodically clearing the time measured by the time measurement circuit. The time measurement circuit includes measurement time change means 21, 22 for changing the variable maximum value of measurement time, and malfunction detection means 25 for detecting a malfunction in the arithmetic units if the measurement time reaches the variable maximum value. |
