摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which provides an optimum energy saving operation.SOLUTION: An air conditioner has a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor 42, an outdoor heat exchanger 44, a throttle device 41 and an indoor heat exchanger 31 are connected through refrigerant piping and a refrigerant is circulated, and an air conditioning controller 51 for controlling the air conditioning capability of the refrigerant circuit based on the inputted current number of room staying persons and an inputted target room temperature. The air conditioning controller 51 calculates the allowable number of room staying persons which is specified based on an air conditioning capability value when the air conditioning capability of the refrigerant circuit shows the maximum value, a room staying rate based on the current number of room staying persons and the allowable number of room staying persons, and a target amount of temperature correction based on the room staying rate. Then, the air conditioning controller corrects the target room temperature based on the amount of temperature correction and controls the air conditioning capability of the refrigerant circuit based on the corrected room temperature.
