PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric kettle in which steam produced in an inner vessel is not discharged to the outside.SOLUTION: An electric kettle includes: a vessel body 1 for integrally storing the inner vessel 3 for storing a liquid; a grip portion 6 provided on one side of the vessel body 1; a lid body 2 closing an opening of an upper part of the inner vessel 3 and provided at the top of the vessel body 1; a spout 5 provided on the opposite side of the vessel body 1 from the grip portion 6; and a heating means 4 heating the liquid in the inner vessel 3, and is configured to spout the liquid in the inner vessel 3 from the spout 5 by gripping the grip portion 6 and tilting the vessel body 1 toward the spout 5 side. A steam path 11 for guiding steam produced in the inner vessel 3 is formed in the lid body 2, and also communicates with the outside while extended to nearby the spout 5, so that the steam produced in the inner vessel 3 is not discharged to the outside. |
