PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transparent substrate from being damaged in a corner of a terminal part when external force is applied to an LCD.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device has a configuration in which a transparent body is connected to the counter substrate side of an LCD. A film and resin are laminated so as to fill a gap between a terminal part of the LCD and the transparent body. A laminate of the resin and the film becomes a pillar to support the terminal part and the transparent body. As a result, rigidity of the terminal part can be improved.
