PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate type heat exchanger which can be made compact without involving degradation in heat exchange performance.SOLUTION: The plate type heat exchanger is constructed in such a way that: first flow passages 1 causing a heating medium R to flow therethrough and second flow passages 2 causing a medium to be heat-exchanged H to flow therethrough are alternately formed, the first flow passages 1 and the second flow passages 2 being formed between each of a plurality of laminated heat transfer plates 10 and 20; inlets 13 and 23 and outlets 14 and 24 are formed in each of the heat transfer plates 10 and 20; and communication paths 31a and 31b for communicating the inlets 13 or the outlets 14 to cause the heating medium R to flow through the first flow passage 1, and communication paths 32a and 32b for communicating the inlets 23 or the outlets 24 to cause the medium to be heat-exchanged H to flow through the second flow passage 2 are provided. The heat transfer plate 10 includes a partition part 15 formed to change the flow passage width of the first flow passage so that the flow velocity of the heating medium R is higher on the outlet 14 side than on the inlet 13 side. |
