PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle for operating an engine in such a manner that an output torque matches with a user required torque even in the state where a misfire is caused by either a cylinder injection valve or a port injection valve, and determining the cause.SOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle includes: an internal combustion engine 20 having the cylinder injection valve 23 for directly injecting fuel into an engine combustion chamber and the port injection valve 24 for injecting fuel into an intake port; and first and second motor generators NG1, MG2. When detecting a misfire, the hybrid vehicle operates the engine at an engine operation point at which an engine power satisfies an engine required power and which is on an engine operation line for determining injection valve abnormality, compensates insufficient torque with a motor generator power, and causes either the cylinder injection valve or the port injection valve to inject an entire amount of fuel to determine that the valve among the cylinder injection valve and the port injection valve that injects the entire amount of fuel is abnormal. |
