PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover and reuse a polishing agent of glass inexpensively.SOLUTION: Polishing waste water 22, which is generated in polishing glass 13 such as phosphate glass or fluorophosphate glass by using a particulate cerium oxide-based polishing agent by a polishing device 10, or during maintenance such as cleaning of the glass polishing device 10 and dressing of a polishing pad 12 used for polishing glass, is delivered by a pump 26, and coarse particles therein are removed by a filter 24. Then, the polishing waste water is separated into concentrated water with the polishing agent concentrated and filtrated water containing a glass component through a hollow fiber membrane filter 32, and the concentrated water is discharged from a concentrated water outlet 36. |
