PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of an electronic apparatus capable of operating as a USB host in a system in which the USB host and a USB device are connected through a USB cable by which a power supply device such as an AC adapter can supply a predetermined voltage to a VBUS line.SOLUTION: A host device 100 operating as a USB host includes a power supply unit 102 for generating a predetermined voltage (5 V), and a control unit 105 which performs bus reset before the predetermined voltage starts to be supplied to an external device 200 (a USB device) when a connection of the external device 200 is detected before a predetermined time passes after a connection of an A connector 301 is detected. |
