PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treating agent usable in production of active water for plant cultivation which promotes growth of plants by using it in hydroponic cultures, and in watering for usual soil cultures.SOLUTION: The water treating agent is a granular material obtained by solidifying a mixture of soil material, mortar, shirasu (volcanic soil), in a weight ratio of 1:0.7-1.5: 0.3-2, wherein the soil material comprises 70 pts.wt. of andosol heat treated at 170-350°C, 5-20 pts.wt. of tuff loam, 5-20 pts.wt. of a vegetable resource selected from humus and chaff, and 5-20 pts.wt. of clay. |
