PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthodontic implant which is easily implanted in the jawbone, excellent in compatibility with bone, and has great retentive strength after implanted.SOLUTION: This orthodontic implant 1 designed to be implanted in the jawbone comprises a head 5 to be connected with an orthodontic appliance and a screw 10 to be implanted in the jawbone. The screw 10 includes a sharpened tip 2 on the implant distal end, a first threaded portion 3 next to the sharpened tip 2, and a second threaded portion 4 next to the first threaded portion 3. The pitch of the second threaded portion 4 is narrower than that of the first threaded portion 3. |
