摘要 A particle with core-shell structure is provided to impart thermal safety to an electrochemical device by melting and/or solidification of a material discharged through a collapse of the core-shell structure when an internal temperature of the device rises to abnormally high temperature. A particle with core-shell structure includes: a core containing sodium acetate; and a shell formed of polymer applied onto the surface of the core. The core-shell structure collapses at a temperature higher than a normal operation temperature of a device comprising the particles of core-shell structure, and discharges the sodium acetate into the outside of the shell. The polymer has a melting point(Tm) of 70-200 °C. The particle with core-shell structure comprises the core and shell in a weight ratio of 5-90:95-10, and has an average particle size of 40-6000 nm.
