PURPOSE: An energy reduction type water valve cartridge is provided to reduce energy and to prevent hot water from being unnecessarily wasted by dividing a discharge section of cold water and cold and hot mixed water. CONSTITUTION: An energy reduction type water valve cartridge comprises a lever, a fixing disk, an operation disk, a disk cover, a sliding guide, and a level control unit. The operation disk is operated with the lever and selectively opens a cold water inlet, a hot water inlet, and a mixed water outlet. The level control unit comprises a movable shaft, a click pin, and a shaft connection unit. The level control unit gradually limits the movement of the level so that the lever is operated in a multistage.
