EXTRACT OF EUPHORBIA KANSUI SHOWING SKIN-DEPIGMENTATION, INHIBITION OF SEBUM HYPERSECRETION, OR PREVENTING OF HAIR-LOSS

PURPOSE: An external use skin composition containing an Euphorbia kansui extract is provided to protect skin through skin whitening and antioxidation, to suppress excessive sebum generation due to the suppression of 5 alpha-reductase activity, to prevent alopecia, and to promote hair growth. CONSTITUTION: An external use skin composition with a skin whitening activity contains an Euphorbia kansui extract as an active ingredient. The external use skin composition prevents alopecia and promotes hair growth. The external use skin composition suppresses excessive sebum generation. A method for preparing the extract comprises the steps of drying and pulverizing Euphorbia kansui; adding 3-10 times content of purified water, ethanol, or methanol and extracting; and filtering the extract and concentrating by reduced pressure.
