PURPOSE: A prescription processing system and a method thereof are provided to improve the accuracy and prevent errors in preparing medicine by a pharmacist according to the prescription from a hospital. CONSTITUTION: Medicines in a prescription is recognized (S210). When a pharmacist selects medicines according to the prescription, the selected medicines are recognized (S220). Whether the medicines in the prescription and the selected medicines by the pharmacist are identical is examined (S230). If the medicines in the prescription and the selected medicines are identical, the prescription is processed (S240).
