PURPOSE: An ontology based content integration device and a method thereof are provided to perform mapping categories by using ontology modeling, thereby integrating and sharing the content of different services corresponding to a semantic relation. CONSTITUTION: An identification unit (120) identifies semantics of a new category which is integrated with an original category which provides content. An estimation unit (130) estimates the semantic relation between the original category and the new category based on an ontology model and calculates an estimation result as a quantitative value. A classification unit (140) classifies the content of the original category in the new category having close relation to the original category.
