PURPOSE: A bulletin board service method using a communication network is provided to smoothly progress with a closed meeting without the constraint of time and space. CONSTITUTION: When a customer which accesses a bulletin board server through a customer terminal requests membership, the bulletin board server requests communication information and authentication information for authenticating members (S301). The bulletin board server registers and stores the information received from the customer terminal in a database unit (S302). When a member accesses the bulletin board server through member terminals, the bulletin board server authenticates the access (S303). When the member requests to open a specific bulletin board, a bulletin board management unit of the bulletin board server requests communication information of the user using the bulletin board and descriptions about the bulletin board server (S304). When the member clicks a confirmation button after writing the descriptions about the bulletin board, the bulletin board server stores the information in a user memory unit (S305). The bulletin board server opens the bulletin board (S306). The bulletin board server transmits a message for notifying the opening of the bulletin board (S307). Members connected after the opening of the bulletin board are authenticated (S308). The bulletin board is activated for the members to use the bulletin board (S309). If there is a new message in the bulletin board, a bulletin board message transmitting unit transmits a notification message for notifying the new message to other members using the bulletin board (S310).
