PURPOSE: A web service system for building a global user information database and a method thereof are provided to compile a user's contents into a portfolio reflecting the user's contents communication activities and provide the portfolio online within the user's account. CONSTITUTION: A member registration module (50) receives and stores the information which is required for a user to apply for membership. A networking module (100) performs some information networking activities for the user. Receiving the user's contents, a contents-related activity module (200) searches out related groups and people regarding the contents and uploads the contents. A sharing module (300) divides the contents into an outside part and an inside part and shares the contents via networks. A display module (400) displays the contents on an online portfolio unit, an external exhibition unit, and a webzine issuing unit.
