PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a system independent operation during system power outage while preventing significant change of a configuration and a cost increase.SOLUTION: A fuel cell power generating system includes: a fuel cell body 21 for generating power from hydrogen and oxygen; an inverter 23 for converting the power generated from the fuel cell body 21 from a DC current into an AC current; a heater 43 for heating a portion within the system by using power from an external system 12 or the inverter 23; and operation controlling means 100 capable of performing a system interconnection operation interconnecting the system 12 and a system independent operation independent of the system 12. During system power outage, the operation control means 100 controls switching means 24, 27, 45 and the like to cut off an electric path connecting between the inverter 23 and the system 12 and to form an electric path for supplying power from the inverter 23 to the heater 43, and controls heater power adjusting means 44 to adjust power to be supplied to the heater 43 by phase control, thereby achieving the system independent operation. |
