PURPOSE: A massage chair having a scalp massage function is provided to add new function and benefit to the massage chair for fulfilling various demands of consumer by managing hair loss through the scalp massage. CONSTITUTION: A massage chair having a scalp massage function comprises a pedestal massaging unit which provides a massaging function by supporting the hips of user and a back massaging unit which provides a massaging function by supporting head, neck, and back of the user. The massage chair comprises a headset (11) to be worn on the head, and a scalp massaging means that provides massage function to the scalp to perform hair growth promotion and hair loss prevention by having a scalp massaging apparatus (12) with a laser output unit. The laser output unit of the scalp massage apparatus comprises a covering unit that has an insertion groove which let a protruded light emitting unit of a red laser diode (12a) and an infrared laser irradiation diode (12b) be inserted, and a diffuser that spread the laser light which is emitted from the light emitting unit by respectively molding the incident unit and the output unit at the upper surface of the inside and outside of the insertion hole of the covering unit.
