PURPOSE: An arc welding apparatus is provided to easily and manually feed a welding wire. CONSTITUTION: An arc welding apparatus includes a manipulating part, a feeding unit part, and a control part. The manipulating part has a jog dial (13) and a rotary encoder detecting the rotation amount and the rotating direction of the jog dial. A worker manipulates the manipulating part in order to determine the jog dial as a feeding manipulating unit for a welding wire. A robot controller determines the feeding amount and the feeding direction of the welding wire based on the rotation amount and the rotating direction of the jog dial, and outputs a feeding control signal to a feeding motor through a welding power source. The jog dial is mounted on a position in which the worker manipulates the jog dial with the thumb of a right hand when gripping a teaching pendant with both hands.
