PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain required refrigeration capability even if a refrigerating cycle load varies, to suppress the increase of a drive current of a compressor, to make the variation of an operation capacity small, and to attain the improvement of the reliability thereof.SOLUTION: A refrigeration device is equipped with a refrigerating cycle constituted by being connected sequentially with refrigerant piping, a compressor 1 whose capacity is controllable, a condenser 3 which condenses a high pressure refrigerant compressed by the compressor, a depressurization mechanism 7 which depressurizes the high pressure refrigerant condensed by the condenser, and an evaporator 8 which evaporates a low pressure refrigerant depressurized by the depressurization mechanism. The device also includes a liquid refrigerant cooling circuit 41 which supercools a liquid refrigerant flowing in a main circuit by the depressurized refrigerant which is depressurized by extracting a part of the high pressure liquid refrigerant circulating in the main circuit of the refrigerating cycle and injects the depressurized refrigerant after cooling the liquid refrigerant of the main circuit into the intermediate pressure portion of the compressor, a flow volume control means 11 for controlling and depressurizing a flow volume of the liquid refrigerant flowing in the liquid refrigerant cooling circuit, and a controller 16 which controls the flow volume control means according to the load variation of the main circuit. |
