PURPOSE: Image recording and search system for grading and verifying of a road driving examination and image recording and search method therefor are provided to improve reliability of a road driving examination of an applicant by providing objective and fair image data with respect to an individual grading item when a dropout petitions for the road driving examination. CONSTITUTION: A tablet PC (10) provides a road driving examination and completion signal to an image recording device (20) in response to an examiner's operation of the road driving examination and a grading event according to the operation of the examiner is provided to the image recording device. The image recording device records the front of a car (C) and situation of a traffic lane according to the road driving examination and completion signal in the road driving examination, creates image data, creates search metadata including visual information of the image data and grade information of the grading event in response to the grading event and provides the image data and search metadata to a control center server (30).
