PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control system for enabling collected particulate matter to be rapidly and efficiently burnt and removed to allow the regeneration treatment to be carried out in a DPF device for collecting particulate matter contained in an exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine such as a diesel engine.SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control system includes a first gear position selecting means 38 for selecting a plurality of gear positions by which a transmission 34 enables traveling; a predicated value calculating means 42 for calculating each of predicated values of exhaust gas temperature, temperature of an exhaust gas subsequent to passage through an oxidizing catalyst, and an oxygen supply volume of the exhaust gas, in each gear position selected; a detecting means 30 of the temperature in front of the DPF device for detecting the temperature Tin front of the DPF device; a second gear position selecting means 44 for selecting a specific gear position from among a plurality of the gear positions selected depending on the temperature Tin front of the DPF device; and a controlling means 46 for controlling the transmission. |
