PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of reducing deflection or buckling of a heat transfer pipe when manufacturing a heat exchanger that uses a heat transfer pipe whose cross section is flat, and to provide a heat exchanger using the pipe joint, and to provide a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger using the pipe joint.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 1 is a pipe joint 1 containing a flat pipe part 11 at one end and a round pipe part 12 at the other end. At the flat pipe part, a skirt part 14 is formed which can support a load applied axially when a diameter thereof is expanded in pipe end direction and the flat pipe part is enlarged in diameter from the other end side.
