PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled device for marking operation capable of efficiently performing the marking operation for making linear marks and of improving operation efficiency.SOLUTION: A marking device 50 performing marking operation is installed in a self-propelled device 1 travelling and stopping along a wide flange beam W which is an operation target. The device 50 includes: a marking member 58 which is disposed at a lower stage 54A of a belt 54 serving as a reciprocating member and is used for making linear marks on the wide flange beam W during both going movement and returning movement at the lower stage 54A; and a marking member holding means 59 which is disposed at the lower stage 54A to hold the marking member 58, can freely tilt relative to a reciprocating direction of the lower stage 54A and can change an inclination direction thereof relative to the wide flange beam W between the going movement and the returning movement so that an angle between the marking member 58 during movement to make marks on the wide flange beam W and the wide flange beam W becomes an acute angle. |
